The One Thing

Two days ago a question was raised in one of the slack channels I am apart of.

And of course it got me thinking.

“Have you accomplished the one thing you’d want to be remembered for when you die?

Well, have you?

Could you?

When will you?

Because, um, what’s stopping you?

“The One Thing” also happens to be the name of an incredible book by Gary Keller, one in which, (go figure), I’ve read twice.

Throughout the book one can find one clarifying question:

“What’s the One Thing I can do, such that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?”

Hmm..

What’s the One Thing you can give, such that by giving it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?

And in closing, a word from the great Apostle Paul:

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But One Thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead..”

PS- What is the One email you use to check all the important stuff?
